Whiff of Joy DT ~ Friday Sketchers

I made this card following the fabulous sketch over at

 Friday Sketchers.

This image that i have used is from whiff of joy stamps and is Willow reading a story.

the papers that i have used are my minds eye signature Christmas.

the sentiment is also whiff of joy.

I coloured the image using copic markers. colours listed below.

various metal embellishments that i bought from Jill at the hobby house.

snowflakes are a mixture of Martha Stewart punches and spellbinders.

 

just a quick post from me today.. got swimming and then my hair to be cut and dyed, (needs it badly!)

Mo’s Digital Pencil. DT

wow what a busy past few days.. haven't had time to set foot in my craft room since Wednesday…

can’t you tell Christmas is on it’s way…

Plus i have some home decorating that i need to start doing this week hopefully ..

whew… breath rach breath…lol..

I managed to make this card this morning, i had already coloured the image from Mo’s digital pencil so the card didn’t take that long to put together.. good job else i wouldn’t have had anything to show again today..  :(

sorry about the dull picture, just realized that i didn’t put my lamps on.. doh!! talk about brain dead!

papers are little sprout, and the punched border is a Martha Stewart deep border punch.

Tim Holtz ticket and some self adhesive rhinestones ..

the image mat has been raised up using foam dots

right then, best get on and see if i can get some images coloured this morning before i have to be at the Gym for 1pm (groan!) lol

the beautiful image sending peace has been coloured with copic markers and i have added some stickles to her wings..

the snowflake punch is Martha Stewart around the edge punches..

papers are S.e.i alpine frost dust of snow

the peace sentiment is from whiff of joy stamps 

The flower is prima.

i have moved my light tent and i just can’t get the lights right.. arghhhhhh driving me insane.. haha

Whiff of joy Challenge blog

the whiff of joy challenge blog this week is to make a Christmas card.

i have used sweet Oakley for my card this week. coloured with copic markers.

i have used mme papers and ribbon from my stash.

the pretty border punch is a Martha Stewart punch a deep edge one.. love these they are gorgeous.

This is my last week at the whiff of joy challenge blog as i have stepped down, so i can spend more time on my other dt obligations..

I have had a wonderful time working with all the girls. They are a wonderful lot and am going to miss them all tonnes..

A sweet gift.

I found this tutorial

Here on you tube

and thought that it was a brilliant idea!

so had a go..

Mine didn’t turn out as good as the one on the tutorial.. not sure where i went wrong.. lol

but i still like the idea behind it..

I was meant to make a card to go with this but time has been running away with me and i haven't made one yet.. in fact i haven’t made any crafty related stuff for the last few days..  so i didn’t have anything to show except this cupcake with a twist.

and here is the twist.. inside the cupcake you can hide an gift card for the recipient.. yes i know that isn’t a gift card in mine.. ( i didn’t have one) it’s my gym card… haha.. kinda funny really cakes and gym…. don’t go!!! haha

here is another picture with the card out of the cupcake completely..

I have used magnolia papers as my cupcake case and the decoration is flowers and ribbon..

Just magnolia challenge.

Good morning and a happy Friday to you all.

I hope that you can join us this week at the

where we have the challenge of masking for you.

I am seriously loving this style of card, they are soooo lush..

I have masked the sweet magnolia snowman and stamped the frosty the snowman verse so that it appears behind the image.

i used embossing powders on the verse and heat set it.

the papers used are my minds eye wonderful winter.

the snowflakes are from a marvy uchida punch (the yellow one) i bought mine from papertreyink awhile ago now. I used two snowflakes and then added a metal embellishment and pearl brad that i bought from a craft show.

The ribbon has just been pleated as i shoved it through my sewing machine..

here are the copics that i used to colour the image on Neenah solar white card.

I decided to showcase little Kai in the rain for this

she is available to buy from Mo’s digital pencil

I went with an easel card for this.. i so love this style of card and see it fast becoming my favourite..

another angle though it is a bit squiffy..lol.. i have added glossy accents to Kai’s rain Mac and boots though it isn’t showing very well on the pictures.. i also added some stickles where i thought the rain is hitting kai. and on the puddle..

The papers that i have used are by magnolia, I thought that the cloud one was perfect for this challenge and image..the flowers are also magnolia.. and the branches are from a Martha Stewart punch.

the sentiment is from whiff of joy stamps and is a perfect compliment to this image.

the lace is from my local shop and i have gone round the edge with stitching using my sewing machine.

I coloured Kai with copic sketch markers on Neenah solar white
